Raise a request

One screen. Fill in what the assessment team needs to judge the work, and leave the rest. The request lands on a team, not on a person.

This form is moving. Internal requests will be raised from the portal / MyPages so that occasional requesters do not need an EPMS licence. It stays here for review sessions only. Decided 25 August 2026; customer-facing work is unaffected and always enters through the CRM.

Where this came from

Pick the path. It decides what the CRM fills in for you.

Choosing one brings the customer, contact, sales owner and commercial figures across from Dynamics 365.

Customer

Customer and contact are always picked from the CRM record, never typed as free text.

The work

Enough for the assessment team to judge feasibility and route it.

Parts per year.

What are the deliverables? Cost per part, cycle-time reduction, yield improvement, and so on. For internal requests KPIs matter less, but be specific about exactly what needs delivering.

Describe the next relevant milestone and when the customer expects it — a proof-out date, a quote for an RFQ, a line up and running. Different requests move at very different speeds, so words beat a single date. The approval team reads this when deciding the route.

Say where you think this work belongs. Tooling-led — design and build of cutting tools or fixtures. Solution-led — a packaged solution combining tooling, application engineering and process work. Application engineering — engineering support and trials, no tooling build. It is an indication only; the approval team still decides the route.

Commercial

What the opportunity is thought to be worth today. It is an estimate, and it is expected to move.

Files are stored in SharePoint at SECO Tools / EPMS / Requests / the request number issued on submit, keyed to this record's ID. In this prototype they are held in memory and are gone on reload.

Original wording, if it was not written in English

Kept alongside the English master. Nothing here is translated.

Submitting posts the request to the assessment and qualification team channel. It lands on the team, not on a person.
